worldwide. But there are more then 100 folks in their meetings.
Don't tell them they have more congregations then Mormons, they may
use this as sign of the end.

by average joe ina bethelite was telling me that there are 83,000 theocratic facilities world wide.
he compared that to 35,000 mcdonalds and 21,000 starbucks roughly to show the size of the theocratic organization.
i am not sure where the 83,000 comes from what would he be counting?

He is one of my favorite comedian. I never forget the bit he did on
a nuclear bomb. In the 60's we had the drill of hiding under our desk
in case of a nuclear bomb. I'm hiding under my desk with my legs between
my legs and I look down at my friend and tell it, I just got to know you good
by old friend. But the point he made was a nuclear bombs and we are hiding under
a wooden desk, we are hiding under kindle...

I agree with blondie. In 2010 the annual report of JW's, 107210 congregation worldwide,
but many congregation share KH.

Does the W.T have financial problems are are they just rebranding?
by The Rebel init is evident that the w.t has recently re-branded itself, and has become fairly modern in its marketing techniques.
so the organisation is in that respect forward thinking, and the former way of doing things has past.. .
but this rebranding has been done by marketing experts, who maybe realise progress is progress, and that with modernisation many bethelites " even as free volunteers" are possibly no longer required.

Which bible character do you hate the most?
by Bonsai inthe more i think about it, the more i feel an extreme dislike for the apostle paul.
he was on par with hitler in his treatment of the jews before he "saw the light".
he replaced jesus teachings of love and mercy with a more legalistic, pharisaical concept of devotion to god.. any evil person can come to believe in god and worship him if the scales were literally and miraculously removed from his eyes.
